I was so interested in reading more and ore because I wanted to know how it ended. I enjoyed seeing that you changed the fates of the characters, it was refreshing. Another thing I admired was how you broke up the story into little paragraphs, it helped me keep track of where I was and not get lost in the writing. It made the story flow well and reminded the reader of the previous sisters as the others were introduced. When you talk of Psyche's deceit, I was curious how she deceived her family and why/how she lied to Cupid. I thought it was awesome how you connected the description of Psyche's beauty to the faults of her personality - outward beauty and inner faults. I find connections like those to be engaging. I also liked the happy ending for Amara and Zephyr, but I was disappointed that Psyche "got away" with all of her deceitful actions. What if there was a dramatic confrontation between Psyche and those she hurt? I'm all about that drama! I was also wondering if Cupid had pricked Psyche with one of his arrows to make her fall in love with him or is his love one-sided? I always just thought that Cupid of Love but never really got any backstory to why he was. I thought you did a great job of retelling this story because it made it a lot easier to follow along. I had never known that Cupid was considered a hero and it felt nice that you made him seem more than just a baby in a diaper shooting arrows.

Andrew Albrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02596133145405888110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3742726776451260802.post-70235947485574271152019-09-08T20:49:31.352-05:002019-09-08T20:49:31.352-05:00Hello, Alli! In classic Greek legends and plays, there are even less happy couples. A lot of them have themes of infidelity, which is why I usually like to steer clear of them. I do like how you gave Antheia and Amara happy endings and Cupid closure. Overall, I think you did a lovely job with this retelling. Best of luck with your future stories in this course!
